KTM 690 model, which has been leading Enduro and tire sliding market for more than ten years, released a new 2023 model before Milan Auto Show!
Um Looking at the handsome publicity photos and videos, it seems that something amazing is coming! However, when excited to open the Media Center data, I looked at the current models of vehicles on the official website. Um It seems that there is nothing new! The specification table is almost the same, so this time it can basically be seen as a routine color change!
2023 KTM 690 Enduro R
As an Austrian brand specialized in off-road, it is one of the few manufacturers that has launched the Enduro model with large exhaust volume (not to mention the Japanese 650 sold only in the United States). With its extremely lightweight body and powerful engine, it is the model with the strongest off-road performance in the KTM Travel series.
The new car color is simply to replace the orange and gray of the 2022 car color, and make some changes in the sticker pattern.

2023 KTM 690 SMC R
SMC R is commonly known as the scooter version, which adopts street setting under the same architecture as 690 Enduro R, and is almost the only remaining single cylinder scooter with maximum exhaust volume (KTM's brothers Husqvarna and GasGas also have corresponding models), with street bead, suspension and braking settings.
The 690 SMC R of the sliding tire model has abandoned the gray of 2022 and replaced it with blue and orange, making it a little younger visually.

Domestic sales
At present, there are 690 SMC R models continuously sold in China, and 690 Enduro R models have been sold before but have not been introduced in recent years.
Since all the new models have been updated, let's briefly introduce the features of this LC4 engine twin car!
LC4 single cylinder engine from 1987
The 693c. c. engine mounted on the 690 Enduro R and 690 SMC R vehicles, which originated from the 553c. c. competitive diesel engine in 1987, is a very rare large single cylinder engine in the current market after years of continuous modification and redesign.
Newly designed LCD instrument
The vehicle adopts a simple and compact new LCD instrument. Compared with the large TFT instrument that most of the current commercial vehicles pursue magnificence, the instrument of this vehicle is just like a competitive and field model, providing only necessary information.
The compact instrument and lamp design means that the possibility of blocking the knight's vision is minimized.
WP Suspension System
The suspension system naturally uses its own WP shock absorber. The off-road oriented 690 Enduro R uses the XPLOR series, while the road vehicle 690 SMC R is the APEX series.
