Meng Wanzhou pointed out that the past decade has witnessed the rapid development of the ICT industry, especially the rapid construction of 5G networks in the past three years. In 2021, more than 10000 industrial 5G applications will be launched in the Chinese market. The integration and innovation of 5G, cloud and AI will enable more and more enterprises to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

In the consumer market, revenue growth led by user experience has successfully stabilized the basic development of mobile communications. The 10x cross generation experience improvement brought by 5G has made users more and more accustomed to using wireless connections. Video consumption has been upgraded from standard definition to high-definition, and new consumer formats such as e-commerce live broadcasts and online concerts have emerged in endlessly.
In the home market, F5G is redefining the home network market. From broadband access to smart homes and all house intelligence, the whole industry is opening new growth space. The family is becoming a multi-functional center for entertainment, office work, education and fitness. The accelerated development of gigabit families has made our life more convenient, comfortable and full of infinite possibilities.
In the government enterprise market, DICT has accelerated the integration of digital economy and real economy, and industry digitalization is changing from the supporting role of office system to the enabling role of production system. 5GtoB has crossed the incubation period of "0 → 1", and together with artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing and other technologies, it has pushed digital industrialization and industrial digitalization into the channel of rapid development.
Meng Wanzhou pointed out that today, more than 40 years after the rapid development of mobile communication industry, the connotation of information infrastructure has changed from connection to two wheel drive of connection and computing. An autonomous driving training vehicle generates 180 PB of training data every year, and computing power has become a new engine driving digital transformation. How to give full play to the value of computing power network is a problem and opportunity given to the information and communication industry in this era.
Meng Wanzhou stressed that we still have more efforts to pay for a fully digital, intelligent and low-carbon future.
First, we should focus on technological innovation and jointly build a green digital economy base. Committed to meeting the new demand for network connectivity, Huawei has put forward the industrial vision of "entering the 5.5G era and opening the door to an intelligent world". The low latency and high reliability capability has been improved from 20 milliseconds of four nines stability to 4 milliseconds of five nines to six nines, and the positioning accuracy has been improved from meter level to centimeter level, so as to be able to push industrial applications to core production processes such as industrial control. Low carbon development is our consensus and also the guide for the sustainable development of all walks of life. Huawei is willing to work with its partners in the 5.5G era to help energy conservation, emission reduction and low-carbon development in all walks of life through continuous innovation in digital technology and power electronics technology, so as to provide inexhaustible power for consolidating the foundation of a green digital economy.
Second, we should focus on application and innovation and jointly promote the transformation of the digital society. It is believed that everyone has an imagination picture of the future digital intelligence life. The proposal of "meta universe" is more human's imagination of the deep integration of the digital world and the physical world. The deep integration and collision of ICT technology and thousands of industries will produce chemical fusion, forge new capabilities of service, and stimulate diversified new applications. On the one hand, we will continue to improve VR/AR, ultra-high definition video and other business experiences, incubate new scenarios for digital and intelligent upgrading in the industry, and promote the in-depth integration and application of information technology in social life and production. Third, we should focus on ecological innovation and build a resilient digital ecology. We are in a period of dramatic changes in the global macro environment and rapid development of the digital economy. Creating a resilient digital industry ecology is not only of long-term strategic significance, but also of practical significance. At present, Huawei is focusing on six major aspects to build a technology ecosystem, including digital infrastructure oriented, and focusing on building a Kunpeng computing ecosystem and a Shengteng AI ecosystem. These are two basic ecosystems, which are required by various intelligent terminals, network equipment, cloud services, big data services, etc. Focusing on intelligent terminals, Huawei mainly creates Hongmeng OS and HMS; For intelligent driving, Huawei creates MDC ecology; Facing the cloud base of the intelligent world, Huawei has built a Huawei cloud ecosystem. Huawei Kunpeng has more than 3500 certified partners; Shengteng has established 16 ecological innovation centers to create four "smart" series solutions, namely, smart city, smart tour, smart manufacturing and smart walking.
