The 14th Conference of the Parties to the International Convention on Wetlands (RAMSAR COP14) will be held at the East Lake International Convention Center (ELICC) in Wuhan, China, and the Geneva International Convention Center (CICG) in Geneva, Switzerland, from November 5 to 13, 2022.
As an observer body of the International Convention on Wetlands (RAMSAR), the International Department of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CGDF, CGDF) will hold two side meetings in Geneva, Switzerland, respectively:
November 8:
“Restoring Wetlands while Advancing Sustainable Livelihoods via Biodiversity Conservation in Our Neighborhood”

November 12:
“ Ecosystem Conservation of Offshore Wetlands and coastline: Seagrass Beds and the Ecosystems They Support”

Preparations for the border conference are being actively promoted. Recently, the project management officer (Dugong) of the Abu Dhabi Office of the United Nations Convention on the Protection of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) Gabriel Grimsditch Mr. Zhang replied to confirm his participation in the side meeting to be held by the International Department of the Green Society on November 12. He will deliver a keynote speech on the importance of seagrass to migratory species and the importance of the International Convention on Wetlands to the protection of migratory wildlife species.
