In order to improve the comprehensive quality of students and open up an international perspective, 26 students of the Oriental Voice Simulation United Nations Society participated in the Refugee Affairs Challenge hosted by Weiland International and officially supported by the United Nations at Changbaishan Hotel of HNA Changchun under the guidance of seniors.
Founded in 2009, the VOE Model United Nations Association of the Middle School Affiliated to Northeast Normal University, adhering to the purpose of "academic standard, serious and lively", has been passed down for more than ten generations and has become one of the largest and oldest academic English associations in the university. It has won many group awards such as the best delegation and many individual awards.
The conference consists of two subcommittees: the United Nations Social, Human Rights and Cultural Commission (SOCHUM), with 15 representatives of our school to discuss the topic of "durable solutions to the welfare of refugees under the influence of COVID-19"; The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) has 11 representatives of our school. Based on the full investigation of the background and current situation of the problem, 26 students in our school played the role of diplomats, put forward practical solutions from the national position in the conference consultation, combined with their own understanding of the topic, deeply promoted the conference process, wrote relevant documents, and put forward practical and sustainable solutions to the refugee problem.
The excellent performance of the representatives can not be separated from the support of the instructors and community seniors. The members of the Executive Committee of Senior High School Two prepared their own lessons, introduced the rules of procedure, social etiquette and document writing skills of the United Nations, accompanied them throughout the meeting, and gave timely targeted suggestions. There are thought sparks of collision of national positions and views, and humanistic feelings of solidarity and mutual assistance from top to bottom.

I had heard about MUN's name long before I entered the school of the Affiliated High School. Later, although it had passed the New Year's Week, I still participated in the interview with expectation and excitement and joined the Model League, applied for the competition, and made preparations for the competition while making up for the missed club classes for more than a week. Although it was really tiring to stay with classmates and schoolmates until 1:3, it was really hard to rush to DDL, and it was really difficult to write a speech even if you were not familiar with the conference process, but all these were enjoyable and worth it. At the meeting, I thanked my classmates who were on the same committee and the elder sister who guided the work for giving me the opportunity to take the responsibility of leader. For the past two days, we have been familiar with each other, run in and help each other, grow and work together, and the coexistence of individual super ability and everyone's team spirit may be the reason why Molian is outstanding. The first time I participated in the Model United Conference, I chose a topic that I was very interested in. The newborn is not afraid of tigers. Model Union is an association that I have wanted to join since junior high school. This participation gave me a good start in Model Union. At the simulation meeting, I didn't fully understand the process, and after a week of preparation before the meeting, I fully understood each part and the spirit of Molian. From the guidance of the seniors before the meeting to the team cooperation during the meeting, I completely fell in love with the model union family. I still remember that after the 10:30 meeting on the first night, the seniors summarized the meeting and corrected our shortcomings. Through practice after practice, I constantly broke through my English level, spoke enthusiastically in the meeting, and finally got the perfect experience of attending the meeting.
